NEW Video Uploaded – Dependable God

Hi Friends,

I recently uploaded a NEW video to my YouTube channel, from my sermon last Sunday at church. Here are the notes from the message:

Foundation Scripture: Job 17 (Easy) 

Supporting Scriptures: Psalm 88:3-4 (KJV), Nehemiah 8:10b (KJV), Exodus 15:2 (KJV), Isaiah 41:10 (KJV), Job 42:10-17 (NIV)

Key Take-a-ways:

  • Depend means to be able to trust and rely on. To trust something/someone and know that person will help or do what you expect them to do.
  • Job was so discouraged, he thought his life was ready to end but he depended on God.
  • Our story continues, God is not done with us yet
  • 5 Tips when we are faced with tests and trials (from James 1)
  • 1. God wants us to be joyful (v2)
  • 2. God wants us to know our faith must be tried (v3)
  • 3. God wants us to have patience (v4)
  • 4. God wants us to pray for wisdom (v5)
  • 5. God wants us to have a stable mind (v8)
  • We are now in a month with double digits. In this 10th month, expect double for all your troubles. May you get twice as much as you had before. 
  • May the Lord bless your latter years more than your former years.
  • The rest of 2022 would be more blessed that the past 9 months.
  • Though your beginning seemed small, great shall be your end; because greater is He that is in you. 
  • Depend on God. Stay close to God. Stay prayed up. 
  • We have a Dependable God. Depend on God and again I say, Depend on God
