LEADERSHIP ENCORE PROGRAM
I launched a new program for people who might have missed the quarterly leadership workshops offered in the past. Through this new program, I am making the training available for teams or on a one-on-one basis, in person or via Zoom. These workshops are ideal for Pastors, Ministers, Church Workers/Volunteers, Community Leaders, Business Managers, Supervisors and other interested persons. Here are the available workshop topics with a short overview of each:
MOVING TO THE NEXT LEVEL. In this workshop, participants will learn the basics of leadership to fulfill their purpose. Also, they will learn how to transition from season-to-season to go to the next level in ministry and in business.
PRINCIPLES FOR EFFECTIVE TEAMWORK. We have all heard the phrase “Teamwork Makes the Dream Work” and this workshop will equip leaders to build effective teams. The workshop will cover types of teams, developing your team, leading team meetings, mastering team communications and more.
ETHICAL LEADERSHIP. This workshop will cover an overview of ethical leadership. Also, the training will cover some general church etiquette, a look at some of the qualities of a leader and more.
CONFLICT RESOLUTION. Conflicts are inevitable but what makes the difference is how they are resolved. The Conflict Resolution workshop provides training in defining conflicts, sources of conflict and teaches conflict resolution skills and more.
EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION. It is very important that leaders are communicating effectively, and this workshop will provide training in this area. Some of the things covered in this workshop are: the communication process, types of communication, barriers to communication, reviewing your communication style and more.
DEVELOPING YOUR VISION. This workshop covers why vision is important, defining vision, and a look at some of the steps you will need to take to develop the vision. Also, participants will learn how to communicate the vision and more.
PRINCIPLES OF DELEGATION. As leaders, there is no way we can do it all by ourselves, we will need to build a team of persons. In doing so, the leader will have to delegate tasks therefore one must know how to do so effectively. This workshop covers elements of delegation, how to delegate successfully, why some leaders do not delegate and more.

HISTORY OF THE LEADERSHIP TRAINING PROGRAM
As you may or may not know, this leadership training program was birthed in 2017. While attending an international conference in the USA, the Lord impressed upon my heart to share the knowledge I received from various courses, workshops and conferences. It became a burden like Nehemiah in the Bible. Basically, the vision was and still is to provide ongoing training and development to persons who are serving in various leadership capacities in churches and other organizations.
In January 2018, I officially launched the program at my local church and it was called “Kingdom Advancement Workshops”, a mere few months after coming out of the devastating hurricanes Irma and Maria. The program was aimed to equip the local church leadership team, where I served as the Overseer of the Church Leadership Team, with oversight for more than one dozen (12) ministries. Over the course of 8 weeks, I taught 8 different workshops in areas such as leadership, conflict resolution, evangelism and more.
Due to unforeseen challenges, the program was put on hold. However, in 2020, in the midst of the covid-19 global pandemic, the Lord began to stir my spirit with a fresh new approach. The Lord gave me the strategy to host a “free” quarterly 1-hour workshop on Zoom and to open up the registration to persons all around the world!
By the enabling of the Holy Spirit, I have continued this “free” training and will be teaching one workshop per quarter. Please feel free to share this information with others. Spaces are limited so you will need to register early. You must register in order to obtain the Zoom link as the training will not be on social media.
