The sermon is based on the passage of scripture from Mark 10:35-45. The longer I serve Him, the sweeter He grows! Here are some of the key points shared:
✝️ A Servant must know how to humble himself/herself
✝️ A Servant must understand the Mission
✝️ A Servant must understand who he/she is serving
✝️ Jesus modeled Servanthood for us. He is our example
✝️ We are designed to serve or, in the words of Rick Warren, we are “shaped to serve”
✝️ You must have a heart and a spirit to serve
✝️ There is greatness in Service. If you want to be great, serve
✝️ Servant begat Servant
Mark 10:44-45 NIV “And whoever wants to be first must be slave of all. For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”
“Bloom where you are planted” is the motto of Ve-Anna S.R. Thomas, affectionately known as, Pastor Ve. She is a native of St. Vincent, but has resided in Tortola, BVI, for several years.
